About Us

Shop a curated collection of work by our cooperative of  over 100 juried artists based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The mission of Arts & Crafts Cooperative, Inc. (ACCI) is to provide a showcase for emerging and established artists to display and sell their artwork, while building community among artists, members, and patrons alike.

ACCI Gallery is a dynamic member-based community of artisans, artists, and art patrons located in the heart of North Berkeley's Gourmet District. Initially conceived by a small group of artists and craftspeople in the mid-1950s, the original Arts and Crafts Cooperative was incorporated in 1959 and moved to its current location a year later. ACCI purchased the beautiful brick building that houses the gallery in 1976. ACCI celebrated its 60th year of operation in 2019, making us the oldest Arts and Crafts co-op west of the Mississippi.

ACCI Gallery is a thriving retail outlet and exhibit venue for distinctive arts and crafts while providing a source of income support to its artists. Approximately one hundred artists exhibit their various media, including ceramics, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, textiles, sculpture and wood. It has been the mission of these artists to promote ACCI Gallery as a locally and nationally recognized model cooperative. Over the years, ACCI has become a community that includes artists, patrons, and employees alike.
