Black Floral Serving Bowl By Gail Miles

Gail Miles uses a variety of beautiful finishing techniques on her porcelain and stoneware pottery. Beautiful, earthy, rough, textured, matte clay is enhanced by the contrast of a soft luxurious jewel-toned glaze. This large serving bowl features a rich black exterior with three warm gray stripes down its sides. Black flowers are silhouetted against the gray of the stripes. Metallic speckles show through the surface treatment on the interior and exterior of the vessel. The bowl measures about 4.75" in height and 7.5" in diameter.
