Pâte De Verre in Black & White By Margo Scarpulla
Margo Scarpulla make one-of-a-kind saggar, naked raku, horse hair and pit-fired pottery, as well as unique Pâte de verre glass vessels. Pâte de verre is a method of kiln casting glass using crushed or powdered glass with a binding agent over a plaster mold. After the firing and cooling, the mold is broken away and the fused glass piece is completed. This one of a kind vase features a dramatic swirling pattern of black, white and grey. The vase measures about 4" in diameter and 5" tall.
Please note: this piece is currently being shown in our black and white show, The Gray Area. It will be available to be shipped or picked up in store after the show closes on July 13th, 2025.
