Pâte De Verre Orange and Red Gradient Vase By Margo Scarpulla
Margo Scarpulla make one-of-a-kind saggar, naked raku, horse hair and pit-fired pottery, as well as unique Pâte de verre glass vessels. Pâte de verre is a method of kiln casting glass using crushed or powdered glass with a binding agent over a plaster mold. After the firing and cooling, the mold is broken away and the fused glass piece is completed. This one of a kind vase features a lovely red to orange gradient with a wire wrap accent. The vase measures about 4" in diameter and 5" tall.
