Tidal Pool By Elizabeth Moser
Elizabath Moser holds both a BFA and an MFA in ceramics from the University of the Arts and the Tyler School of Art at Temple University. From the 1970s through the 1990s, her work focused on large-scale sculpture. Currently, her practice explores the pleasure of small-scale functional, sculptural, and decorative pieces, with a strong emphasis on surface design, working with mid-fire clay, using terra sigillata and slips.
Tidal Pool is made from mid-fire clay, decorated with colored slips and utilizing the sgraffito technique. It has a built in hanger on the back and measures 11" x 7" x 2 ".
