Tricolor Patina Round Vase by David M. Bowman Studio

Father and son artists David and Reed Bowman combine their expert metalsmithing with a painterly patina flourish. This lovely footed round vase is cut from brass sheet, which is then hammered into shape, brazed together, and colored with a multi-color patina. To make this particular design, the patinas are applied with a brush while heating the metal with an oxy-acetylene torch, which is layered a couple of times to provide a deeper, more complex design.

Vase measures 5.75" tall, the top opening is about 1.75" long. Tested watertight.
